Being Japanese, did you find that as a women you were regarded differently? I have heard women are placed second in the status quo in Japan.
Satomi: I think that this is very true in Japan. I know that my mother went through some of those issues, but for me I came to the United States right after I graduated from High School so I didn't have any such experiences.

From your bio, this seemed like a venture far from your desires. You mentioned your "fear" and "shyness" towards people, especially guys, I am surprised you ventured to the risqué adult oriented market. What brought this choice to mind? Seems dramatic for a shy Lady.
Satomi: Well for the most part I always have been shy and I still am very shy. My site seems to be a kind of stepping stone for me to over come my fears. I figured that someday I would have to stand up and overcome my flaws. I remember going to my first public meeting for members of my site, and I was so scared to talk, but after a while I was fine. I still get very nervous in public, but it is good for me to be able to overcome that fear. Besides that, when I am in front of a camera playing with myself I am more focused on the fantasy and the actual playing to care to much about my fears.

Ah the questions to know you better. Okay, here's one, give me a description of Satomi from your view. Who is this Lady?
Satomi: Well it is me:-) hehe. I guess I am just your normal every day person. No better or worse than anyone else. For the most part I am very conservative and caring. I know I have a naked website (not to conservative), but that is my release from the stress of the world. I am also artistic at times and expressing myself in this way is fun and exciting to me.

I see you moved to the US after high school. What really motivated you to do so? Education, independence...share a bit.
Satomi: Ever since I was really young I wanted to speak English and visit America. When I graduated from high school I had a few friends that were going to the US to study abroad. I thought that it would be the best way to achieve my dream of learning English and going to America.

Did you have a place to stay in the US or did you have to start fresh as a newcomer?
Satomi: I came to America under a Homestay program. It was a really good experience for me, but

a few years into it I decided that I could do it on my own so ever since I moved out of the Homestay program I have lived on my own.

I know many students in Japan study English. How comfortable did you feel as far as being able to communicate when you first came to the States, it must have been a bit frightening.
Satomi: I was scared to death. I couldn't speak more than a few words. I knew the language to a point which made writing something that I could do, but my recall was so slow that when I spoke it must have been very difficult to understand.

"I was driving around a couple of weeks ago after I went shopping for some new outfits and saw fields of flowers off the side of the freeway. So I told my friend to stop by to see what it was. They were having a festival of flowers so I decided to put on one of the new dresses I bought and walk around and see what kind of pictures we could get."
